audit.neo presents operating system for public accountants at the IDW Annual Congress 2024 in Munich

Stuttgart, October 19, 2024 – The technology startup audit.neo is setting the course for the future of digital auditing. More than half of the 20 largest auditing firms in Germany and a mid-double-digit number of smaller and medium-sized firms already rely on audit.neo as an innovative solution for data analysis in auditing – some are already in their third year of auditing. A recent customer study confirms an average time saving of over 30 percent through the use of fully automated audit procedures.

With the official release of our documentation module this summer, audit.neo is now THE operating system for public accountants. From the acceptance of the engagement to the audit report, all steps of the process can be handled in just one software. The unique linking of data and audit documentation led to a further significant increase in efficiency in pilot projects with selected clients last year.

At this year’s annual congress of the Institute of Public Accountants in Germany (IDW), we had the opportunity to present our integrated solution to a broad professional audience for the first time. The response was overwhelmingly positive – both from existing customers and from numerous new interested parties. We are currently working with several large auditing firms to fully migrate their auditing processes to audit.neo, and more partnerships are being added every week.

Our AI bot supports public accountants with audit-specific and client-specific questions and accompanies them from risk identification to data analysis and final reporting. With fraudAI, we also offer an AI solution for anomaly detection that makes audits even more efficient and secure. All in an intuitive user interface that is specially tailored to the needs of public accountants. It promotes collaboration within the project team and significantly reduces training costs.

Ready for tomorrow’s challenges: ESG audit

The upcoming audit of sustainability reporting poses new challenges for the industry. audit.neo is prepared for this and integrates the analysis of relevant sustainability data directly into the audit process. We are currently developing a fully integrated ESG module together with selected customers who have extensive expertise in this area.
